The Loveland Fine Art & Wine Festival brings three days of world class art, wine and entertainment to Loveland Colorado. Forty-five minutes north of Denver, Loveland Colorado sits at the base of the majestic Rocky Mountains and home of America’s largest outdoor sculpture show weekend. Held annually in August, these events attract thousands of art enthusiasts and collectors from across the US and abroad.

Heralded as one of the finest outdoor juried exhibitions of three-dimensional artwork in the United States, Sculpture in the Park showcases over 2,000 pieces of sculpture created by 160 sculptors from around the world. The event is majestically staged against the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains and attracts thousands of art lovers and collectors from across the country to Loveland's Benson Sculpture Garden. The second weekend of August, Benson Sculpture Garden is transformed by the Loveland High Plains Arts Council.

Arise Music Festival ~ Loveland

ARISE Music Festival is a musically diverse, festival-wonderland experience. Featuring 7 stages of live music, yoga, workshops, theme camps, art gallery & installations, children’s village, speakers, films and camping on 100 beautiful mountain valley acres. Live acts include Ziggy Marley, Jurassic 5, and many others.
Old Fashioned Corn Roast Festival ~ Loveland
August 19-20, 2016
Location: 4th & Railroad
The 2016 Old Fashioned Corn Roast Festival will be held Aug. 19-20, 2016. The event includes the parade, corn shucking competition, corn eating contest and all the roasted and boiled corn anyone could eat! In addition, people of all ages enjoyed a variety of entertainment, great vendors and more. General attendance and all concerts are free and open to the public.
Corn will be for sale throughout the festival. Roasted corn will be available Friday, and roasted or boiled corn will be available sale on Saturday. An ear of corn only cost two tokens and all our corn is GMO free!
NewWestFest ~ Fort Collins

Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest is a free, three-day music festival held each August in historic downtown Fort Collins. The 2016 festival will take place Aug. 12, 13 and 14. The annual festival is co-produced by Downtown Fort Collins Business Association and Bohemian Nights. This free community music festival features 80+ Colorado bands, including headliner performances at the main stage on Friday, Saturday and Sunday; seven stages of entertainment; more than 250 specialty, art and food booths; and a family-centered Kids’ Music Adventure and Kids’ World area.

A fun, locally-organized, affordable Con experience in Northern Colorado for a great cause. Fort Collins Comic Con is meant to encourage youth literacy through comic books and other pop-culture mediums. We also created the con to fill a void for Northern Colorado geeks, who normally have to drive 2+ hours to attend huge events like Denver Comic Con and StarFest, typically at great cost for attendees and vendors alike. Our goal is to bring together geeks of all ages and types into an affordable Con experience. Whether you appreciate comics, Star Trek, Star Wars, Firefly, Buffy, Harry Potter, zombies, gaming, steampunk, or something else – we’ve got something for you and you can have a great time near your hometown.

FridayFest Concert - Brothers of the Son: This six piece band embodies the spirit and emotion of Southern Rock, Colorado Style. They strongly identify with the roots of real Country, Rock and Blues. Influences such as Lynyrd Skynyrd and The Allman Brothers more drive our twin lead guitars, keys and a rockin' rhythm section which sets the stage for strong vocals. Their performances range from blistering rock to acoustic ballads all played and performed with passion and expertise.
Pets 'n Popsicles ~ Greeley

Pets ‘n’ Popsicles is at Centennial Village for the third year but this year features a new, lower admission price. Admission is just $2 for persons 2 years and older. Admission includes pony rides (weekends only) and a Popsicle. Enjoy your lunch in the shade and see our baby animals all grown up!
Neighborhood Nights ~ Greeley

Since its creation in 1996, Neighborhood Nights has been one of Greeley’s most fun summertime rituals. A free event, Neighborhood Nights gives you the perfect excuse to head out to one of our beautiful community parks, stake out a patch of grass with lawn chairs or blankets, and enjoy a wonderful movie shot on an inflatable screen.
These alfresco theaters bring back memories of drive-ins and provide a great gathering space for people from all walks of life. Why spend another Friday night in front of the TV when you can be outside enjoying a balmy Colorado evening with friends and family watching a favorite flick under the stars?
National Night Out ~ Windsor-Severance

The Town of Windsor will participate in the 2016 National Night Out on Tuesday, Aug. 2. National Night Out is a program that encourages citizens nationwide to hold a block party, meet their neighbors, and partner with police to help make neighborhoods safer.
Representatives from the Town of Windsor, the Windsor Police Department and Windsor-Severance Fire Rescue will visit each location and meet the residents of the neighborhood to discuss concerns, answer questions and get acquainted in a casual setting. Cul de sacs may be blocked off for this event, but not through streets.

National Night Out ~ Johnstown-Milliken

The Johnstown Police Department will host their second annual National Night Out on Tuesday, August 2, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Johnstown Police Department, 430 S. Parish Ave. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live.
While enjoying hot dogs, popsicles and popcorn, meet and mingle with the police officers that keep Johnstown one of the safest towns in all of Colorado! You'll have the opportunity to tour the police department, take a picture in a police car and view the Larimer County S.W.A.T. vehicle that will be on site.
National Night Out is tailored for families, offering a number of fun activities for children and youth. Kids will have a unique opportunity to interact with Johnstown Police officers while either playing games, hitting the piñata, participating in a coloring contest, jumping on the bounce castles, enjoying the petting zoo, or while watching the kid movie that will be playing in the training room.
A night of fun is sure to be had by all. We hope you'll join us the evening of August 2 for the Johnstown Police Department's National Night Out!
Milliken Beef 'N Bean Day ~ Johnstown-Milliken

Milliken residents have celebrated the Town's agricultural history since 1924, when the first agricultural festival was planned. Apparently the event began when a local Presbyterian minister decided to hold a Town Picnic, and two years later in 1926, the Town held the first official festival, calling it Bean Day. In 1983, when a local feed lot producer, donated beef, which was cooked underground at Lola Park, the event then became known as Beef 'N Bean Day.
The event is still running strong on the Second Saturday of August and includes everything from a Fireman's Pancake Breakfast, to Parades, Vendors, Live Music, Fireworks and MORE!
Movies in the Mountains ~ Estes Park

Returning in 2016 is the Movies in the Mountains, an outdoor movie series, where movie-goers can enjoy both live music and a selected movie on the last first and third Friday from June through August. The park opens at 6pm for delicious, local craft beer and food concessions.
